Easy Easel
Some of you would have seen the easel set up my husband made for me back in 2012. It has been to many workshops around the country and many plein air paintouts around the world. I still love it. With time in the shed Glenn has designed and produced a light-weight aluminium backing board and table to suit camera tripods. Made to suit pastels but other mediums can use it too. Made with quality products it will last a lifetime and can fit into a backpack or carry on luggage if needed. I have made the backing board suitable to fit most brands of pastel paper: eg. A4 colourfix paper or 1/4 sheet. UART 9"x12" paper pads Pastelmat 1/4 sheet or 24x30cm pad. You can attach a larger foam core board with bulldog clips to paint larger if desired. The tray table fits: 2 boxes of 63 half stick Unison pastels or 1x 72 full stick set. Or any set 40cm x 32cm or smaller. |
